The farmers know those techniques already. The problem is mandated GMO planting, mandated uses of petroleum based fertilizers, the corruption in the intermodal shipping industries, and the demand from food manufacturers for higher crop yields and bigger, "meatier" animals. Which is something, probably the only thing, that perteoleum-nitrate-phosphate based fertilizers have over more natural methods. Those types of fertilizers produce bigger and more fruits and veggies and more grain than natural methods. They are also a requirement for GMO crops to grow and thrive.

The farmers also know just who controls the seed production/storage/distribution industry, too. Hint: it ain't the farmers.

The issues are many...and deeply layered.
