That, Sir, is the crux of the problem. He clearly states that his GOD is outside of the time/space continuum, which did not exist until a "timeless entity" created it. Your argument that "now" did not exist prior to creation, therefore creation could not happen. A "straw man" argument since creation proves itself. Just open your eyes. Creation requires a "CREATOR". I choose a timeless entity, not bound by laws that "HE" created. I believe this because of the creation that I see and by faith. If you choose not to accept this, that is your right to do so, and I respect that. However, without evidence, and you have presented none, your opinion is simply your opinion. So, lacking evidence, the true question is actually one of faith. I put mine in the hands of God. Where, Sir, do you put yours ?...
I made no claim, I need no evidence. I pointed out the guy in the clip has a problem unless he's just making up nonsense, at which point anyone can assert anything at all and its all now equally true. We might as well be in middle school arguing about what it means for something to have the color red. All debate and discussion is meaningless.
You claim a creatorless creator is needed to create. You admit openly your position is based on nothing, i.e. faith so why even bring up evidence or reason? They will not dissuade you when you didn't use them to get to where you are now.
So, your claiming that I said "a creatorless creator is needed to create" ? That is an assumption or misinterpretation on your part. I said a "timeless entity" (someone or something not bound by time). My assumption is that sense you have chosen to repudiate mine and inutterable's "concept" as being senseless and illogical, that you, Elcycs, have a concept that makes perfect sense and logic, but completely void of evidence. Which, I openly admit is needed if your intent is to dissuade me. How many billions and billions of years will that take...
So your trying to shift the burden to me with a false dilemma: explain the existence of the universe or else it was made by a timeless creator some call god?
I don't know. You don't either. I'm just not going to sit here making pointless untestable assertions about mysterious timeless entities that might exist and be involved...
No, I just thought that since you criticized someone's statement as having plenty of logic boo boos, you may want to expound on your critique with a substantive explanation so that everyone reading the post could be enlightened. My bad, it's apparent that you don't have one. You have a great day.
