I have a theory that all those “mysterious sky sounds” everyone was posting about a few years ago were actually the sound made by the wind resonating through these tunnels.
That theory is very interesting!
I used to hear the mysterious rumble noise in the sky in Victoria, Australia from my house and then one weekend i drove into the woods (far away from houses) to go camping (about an hour and a half away from my house) and heard the rumble noise one morning, except this time it was about 10x louder! That kinda made me think hmmm...the noise appears to be distance sensitive. As if there was something hidden in the woods!
I get where you're coming from, absolutely. From what I've looked at, PL is a well established, crowd-funded journalist in the area. He's new to us, but he's very much not new to the locals.
Of course, PL isn't the only one reporting these things. It just happens that he's one of the few on-the-ground journalists willing do this sort of reporting, if not the only one.
I'm not suspicious of PL as a source. He could be spinning his coverage, sure, and I will keep an eye on this. But so far his reports don't "bother" me, in the way you mention.
Normally I'd say yes, but considering the vast network of INCREDIBLY SHADY biolabs uncovered all over Ukraine, I'm prepared to believe anything.
Also, he's definitely legit. He's not there on vacation, he's been visibly shell shocked a few times on camera, and he'll be living with anxiety/PTSD for the rest of his life.

tunnels usually need to have oxygen pumped in, not sure where wind would be coming from in tunnels a mile below the surface

Wait, they found a tunnel with shackles on the walls under Xiden owned property in Ukraine. Suddenly we dont hear any more about that one.
