While part of me acknowledges that this IS Lucky Charms we're talking about (you know, definitely not part of a balanced diet), there is a part of me that has noticed little changes in certain processed foodstuffs over the past couple of years or so. Foods that I could normally eat in a pinch if nothing else was available (like cheez-its or graham crackers) have been leaving me feeling nauseous after having small amounts.
I suspect that there have been little shifts in ingredients over this time, small enough that people who would eat those things wouldn't notice. Am I crazy? Has anyone else noticed this?
Could just be your body changing over time. I can't drink milk anymore despite coming from a family of dairy obsessed individuals. It's fucking tragic lol. I also find myself enjoying things I hated as a kid.
I’ve noticed this as well. I’ve also switched to more natural products so maybe I can just taste the “cancer” (joke between my spouse and I) in the crap filler foods I had been used to.
I swear I can taste the coloring in crappy candy.
The more expensive (and better made) candies I’ve found don’t make me sick and they taste “normal” I guess?
My favorite was sour Skittles, I’m found a better made brand called Giggles and they’re awesome!
