Point being he probably trusted a lot of crappy advisors along the way because while he was successful he had way too many terrible appointments surrounding him and policy failures for it to be excused away as part of a plan. It was DS and people stabbing him in the back at every turn. Unfortunately Trump is too arrogant to admit he messed anything up or trusted the wrong people ever because that just isn't his personality. Love him or hate him have you ever once heard Trump say he was at fault for something?
