I was a driver in 2018, to get out of the house and drive around the city. Lots of fun.

They should absolutely rate riders. Some folks are trash. The bad thing about Lyft is the fact they pair ratings of drivers with riders. When you have a 5.0 rating, it's great. You get great riders and great drivers.

But I got 2 1-star reviews on the same night which put me below 4.0 and I was done. All I got was trash people that didn't tip and were rude as hell. Wasn't having fun anymore, so I stopped. 400+ rides 5 stars rides, and 2 on the same night ruined me. They only count the last few rides towards your rating.

All I gotta say is you must hit every navigation point and figure out pretty quickly what kind of person you're dealing with. Everyone is different.
