Lord, ain't that the truth?! I see masks lying everywhere, on the ground, in parking lots, by the side of the road. Once it used to be plastic bags hanging from trees and blowing in the wind, and before that it was cigarette butts everywhere. Humans have a way of leaving their "spoor" of the era all over the place, and I'm sure you could tell what is uppermost in the general species' concerns of any given month. So now our trash is masks....maybe because there are so many of them still around that people see them as one-time-use items to be discarded (carelessly) when they're done with them. It might even make a good subject for a doctoral thesis, "The Castoffs Of Humankind."
I mean, anthropologists do study "midden piles" (or trash pits) of ancient people, so why not study the castoff stuff of modern society?
The fact that there were no directions/orders to throw masks away only in biohazardous waste bins and that they were tossed in the regular trash told me all I needed to know, by June 2020, that this pandemic was actually a scamdemic.
You have nailed it!
There will be a layer of McDonald's Big Mac styrofoam containers, which we were assured wouldn't decompose for 100 years, and a layer of masks above it.
...and a layer of human bodies that are partly made of plastic, spike proteins, scars from trans surgeries.
Takes me at least two paper straws to finish a drink because it dissolves. More if I take my time.
There's something about the texture of a paper straw in my mouth that I find off-putting.
and they are wrapped in plastic...
Not the ones in Florida at the theme parks. Paper wrapping. They lasted long enough for me to drink that regular sized cup but I could see those huge ass cups having an issue.
Great Cartoon. I hate seeing masks discarded everywhere. After trash pick up, it was not uncommon to have one or two, blown over into my yard.
Where's Greta? Come on, give us a "How dare you!" to the mask litter bugs.
For me it was the plastic gloves in parking lots that triggered me. If you drop a mask and don't pick it up you're scummy but you know damn well the gloves were intentionally littered based on them always being by the area car doors were.
Further confirmation that there is no real pandemic. No biohazard disposals for masks on every corner? Because there is no pandemic.
I expect in a couple years to see pictures of animals who have gotten into those ear loops and are slowly strangling to death. Remember, they redesigned the pop can tab because of that.
Went to the AMC theater, it was date night with my wife. Candy, popcorn, soda's and nachos. Total bill was $40 for concessions
Paper straws ....
Good thing there is competition, because we won't be going back to AMC again. Force us to use paper straws; we will simply to see the same movie, in the same type of recliner, at a competitor, where we will enjoy the same popcorn, the same soda, the same candy (probably not the nacho's) and pay the same $40 - except we will enjoy plastic straws.
Why would an idiot want to sabotage his customer's movie experience?
Ironic, isn't it. The "environmental" left doesn't seem to have a problem with masks that will take 450+ years to decompose. Many of these carelessly discarded masks are entangling wildlife (birds, etc.) and have found their way into to oceans to wreak havoc on sea creatures. (Also love their "environmental" hair colors.) URGH
I was in London in the early 1980's and there was newspapers blowing everywhere. Tells me they were buying and reading lots of newspapers.
