In the meantime I remember hearing that gargling with hydrogen peroxide can take care of strep throat. Not sure if this is true but it would have been nice to have tried it when I was a kid! I was sick with strep all the time and I had my tonsils removed; therefore I cannot test the home remedy myself.

I don’t know how you can handle the flavor of that goldenseal yuck! Stuff tastes like earwax - I was taking to help induce labor a little while ago lol (didn’t induce labor, baby came late)
