can't believe I found this on Fed tube. this one is great also. calls out a lot of Rockefeller and CFR plans that have come to pass and the names of those involved.
Hollywood frequently glorifies its portrayals of organized crime. The audience is often steered to feel sympathetic towards some slimeball crook. Wanna guess why that is? Ever heard of Mass Formation Psychosis?
Murder Machine: A True Story of Murder, Madness, and the Mafia by Jerry Capeci was an interesting read. It's mostly about the DeMeo crew in Brooklyn, one of the most violent groups of killers ever. John Gotti was afraid of them. It was like five serial killers deciding to work together. No idea how much of it was true, since mafiosos tend to embellish their crimes, but was still an enjoyable, pulpy true-crime novel.
Edit: just noticed the word "video" in the post title. My bad. 🙃

A few of the old timers are cashing in, telling their stories themselves. Sammy the Bull is one of them.

"Fear City: New York vs. The Mafia" was fascinating
