That's only a small portion of the state though. Every single portion of TX is in the upper 90s-100s+ for half the year, if not longer. Our springs and falls typically consist of 2-3 weeks of nice weather, then we get 20-40 degrees swings shortly after. Also, more than half of TX is desert climate. Almost every Californian that I've met that has moved here is still too dumb to realize why their gardens and "lush" landscapes don't exist or last. It's not the same.
I'm not trying to come off as brash or rude here, just stating that it's not close to being the same.
Our climate is not the same as California. It's much hotter/drier here than in California, which makes the point being made that much better.
Down around Houston it is a humid heat.
Understatement lol. I prefer to stay dry after showering, so I limit my trips to the gulf coast area.
We don’t have humidity here in California. 115 temps in the summer and extremely dry. Very good kindling for these arsons.

Fact Checkers: If we cut that second part down a little...
"Our climate is not the same as California. It's much hotter/drier here than in Californi"
Ok good. I made my $1.42 for the day...
There are more people in CA, though.
Mostly peaceful arsonists
They even found one to burn right in the middle of NYC in December.
No, but you are likely to have more nutcases nearby.
