I myself am sick of the hype porn and clickbait tweets. If you have something, say it. I understand the psyop nature of saying these things too to keep the enemy guessing, but seeing as I'm not the enemy I choose to believe it when I see it.
That said... I see your point with this thread. There's nothing productive aside from folks blowing off steam and at some point it does become necessary to contain these posts from boiling over. Maybe as a way to be a more enlightened community we could host a daily or weekly "Steam Vent" thread where people can express their distaste in a controlled post and others can either join them in the wallow or try to offer counter points for consideration. But that's it. No other dooming outside the thread and even then dooming isn't necessarily allowed so much as it's overlooked in this hypothetical thread meaning if you start up with the "Q is a LARP" or other similar bullshit, that would still be ban-able.
