I am still confused, though: is there a foolproof test for covid-19, yet? And how are they able to identify the variants?

They can't identify variants, been saying this from the onset of delta bullshit. I code medical records and the test only says covid19, never says anything about a variant. That's totally made up just like all the bullshit surrounding covid19.🙄
