As someone who is a resident of NYS I can testify that voting does not do a damn thing. Corruption has run rampant relentlessly for decades in NYS and I can assure you voting doesn't do a goddamn thing. About the equivalent of wiping your ass. Which do you want the red or the blue toilet paper? Either way it's still got the same shit on it in the end.

Every great adventure begins with a first step. You won't be getting anything done by just sitting there not doing a thing. Sure it sucks to live in NYS, but be the ignition source for that change. You have to take a stand and get out of your comfort zone. Or just keep typing on a website and see where that gets you in five years. Your choice. Either fight to end the corruption or eat your cheetos while sitting in your Barkalounger. God bless you with whatever decision you make. It will be the right one for your freedom.
