I honestly think these food processing plants just make food bad. Could this all be used for good?
Of course, man! I just found out this moment that General Mills is the parent company of Betty Crocker! You know Betty Crocker, right?

My mother had ALL THREE of the classic Betty Crocker cookbooks featured in this article. Now I feel like a somebody, a contender, instead of a bum housewife, which is what I am! (Sorry, paraphrase borrowed from Marlon Brando movie.)
Do you have any idea how many American women learned to cook from good old Betty? We even thought she was real, like Santa Claus for the kitchen. My mother used her favorite version until the back of the binder fell off and the pages were all splattered with cooking and baking liquids. She bequeathed me her Betty Crocker cooking expertise, starting with Betty Crocker's Cookbook for Children, in which were printed quotes from the supposed youngsters who tried out the recipes: "If I were a momma, I'd cook all day!" Bless you, Betty Crocker, bless you. You made me what I am today--a kitchen star.
