Freeing slaves was always on the roadmap even after the revolution, and in principle there was agreement. The implementation was going to take a long time, both from the point of view of the freed slaves, the society and the economy. However, the Cabal did exactly what they did with BLM, it was no different. There was a reason there were more than one media people who were hung after the war.

Also, the institution of slavery was very different than what we are told. Yes, there were a fraction who treated them savagely, but for the most part they were treated humanely.
