Same damn thing they did to Gov Palin after she returned from her stint as VP hopeful. They (people who hated and caused much financial stress) provided her the opportunity to step down, which she did gracefully, if not without turmoil. She was kicking ass as far as I was concerned. She couldn’t defend herself financially, and didn’t want the state to pay money to defend her. So the story goes …
