If masks protected against covid

Then the box wouldn't say DOES NOT PROTECT AGAINST COVID

If it protected against COVID the distancing, working from home, vaccines, etc. would not have been required.

This has been my go to question the entire time. If X works, when does it start working, and why do we need Y? Triggers them all they can't explain it.
