What's to stop a Bill Gates-type from funding a Fauxi-type to produce a biological or mechanical weapon? All they have to do is simply stay quiet.

The difference between a Gates doing it and a Musk doing it is everyone perceives Gates as evil.

Gates funding a bioweapon is him funding a mass murder tool that gets unleashed upon us.

Musk funding Neuralink is a popular charismatic making a control mechanism that must see wideapread voluntary adoptiom by the public before they can force it on the resistors.
