Call me ignorant, but why do these announcements have to be a comm? Considering that all the vaccinated people I know have been getting Covid lately, and that all the politicians on the planet are in constant need of attention, why does this not simply mean they are all getting Covid?
This is an honest question, not trying to argue. What exactly indicate a “comm” vs. “Look at me I Have Covid!” Are there additional clues?

If they want people to get vaccinated, why are they announcing to the public their shots and boosters they're grateful for didn't do a thing for them?
