I'd take issue with "quickly" - they've been at this shit a long time!

I think "quickly revealed" is what is meant, but however long it took, it should be obvious to anyone now. The question is, will people continue to vote for that vile party because that's how they always have, or will they leave the party, like many have in the past few years?
