I don't just read books. I also do real-world experiments to confirm things.
Here's an example. I read in a book that a shock could magnetize steel if it's pointed to magnetic north. So I got a long steel rod. I first tested it on a small staple. It wouldn't attract it at all. I took the rod outdoors, stuck it in the ground leaning toward the north, and then whacked it hard a few times with a hammer. I pulled it up, brushed it off, and took it inside. It would then pick up staples.
So I don't just blindly believe things.
BTW, you are a flat-earther, so you're provably very gullible.
Your experiment worked because you live in a dielectric plane not because the earth is a sphere. The only 2 forces in nature are electric and magnetism.
Like you I've done my own experiments. I can observe things way beyond the geometric limitations our supposed globe should allow, even with your stupid 7/6r refraction. I can scientifically prove to you that the stars wouldn't be visible at the distances they say they are. Every test to prove the movement of the earth has failed. You have nasa (proven liars) as your only "proof" of a globe.
Just because someone challenges your world view doesn't make them wrong.
I guess you don't believe in geometry. It proves a lot. You can use trigonometry to prove how far away the sun and the moon are. Men have known that the earth is round for many thousands of years. Trigonometry demonstrated to the ancients approximately how large the earth is.
Your first sentence is completely wrong. The rod magnetized because it was aligned with earth's magnetic field.
You obviously failed in math and all of the sciences.
No more talk. You have definitely not really challenged my world view, but you are definitely very wrong.
How did they get those measurements in the first place? How did they know what size and distance they are without ever having been there for themselves? It's all just made up numbers. I've seen a math equation showing how it's possible for superman to fly but just one problem, superman isn't real. We don't live on a math equation though.
I actually passed math with flying colors and never needed a calculator all through high school. Never paid for indoctrination at college though.
You actually don't understand trigonometry? What a maroon.
If you measure two angles and one side of a triangle, it's easy to calculate the other angle and sides. That's how surveyors measure long distances with a transit.
