What is "dasting"

I would like to know what this means please. I read this stuff all the time which includes "dast" in some form or fashion. The most frequent are "interdastng" and plain "dasting." Appreciate some education here. Thanks in advance!

When I first heard portmanteau, I thought it was Portman Toe. Meaning some kind of malady acquired by long-term walking on wooden docks while barefoot.
