Same with Trotsky. His uncle was a huge capitalist and was a huge influence on him. He would spend his holidays with him, and enjoy extravagant lifestyle, and get funded by his uncle to do his "revolutions for the poor"
Years ago, when I was a left, I read "The Lacuna" by Barbara Kingsolver It made me feel sorry for Trotsky, who was a kind misunderstood idealist who was brutally and undeservedly murdered after he left politics.
Yes, I was that dumb!

It just shows how brainwashing revisionist literature is.
Almost all literature is revisionist. Except perhaps Dostoevsky (going by how badly the left is trying to get rid of him). I was a liberal long back as well, and I never woke up and said I am a liberal. It just happened naturally as I used to love reading books and watching documentaries, reading history etc. There is such a subtle thread of propaganda in everything (I cant even call it propaganda since its so subtle). Now when I go back, its clear to see how slowly and methodically they imprinted ideas in our minds.
This is what I tell people when they say "The plan is not going fast enough". The enemy was so slow, so patient and so methodical and never once said "our plan is not going fast enough", and yet here we are, not even understanding the magnitude of what we are facing, complaining its not all over yet.
It's because of Trotsky, though, I started looking back at Stalin, and I am pretty convinced now that at some point Stalin turned against the Cabal. He basically purged all Trotsky loyalists, and Trotsky was the Cabal man in USSR. I am also rethinking Holodomor. There was a discussion here a few weeks ago and what we came up with was that Stalin turned communism against the Khazarians by collectivising the farms since Khazarian homeland of Ukraine was a big agricultural country. When the Khazarians, in their hypocritical fashion, fought back and refused to share their grains, he let them all starve.
He famously said "Tell me when they are starving so badly they start eating their own babies". Of course, this had always disgusted me about Stalin, but when you realise he was aiming this at the land of the Satanic people who kill and eat other people's babies, it takes a whole different meaning.
I believe the real atrocities happened in USSR under Lenin and Trotsky when they brutally murdered millions of white christians. Even the Holodomor is a red herring.
Thanks for this. I'm going to have to think about it. All these continual reversals of what I have always known are very hard to adjust to.
Yes, this part is easily demonstrated. It's just the reasons and motivation for the purge which is not full known at this point. Could be just a power grab.
I have such respect for your analysis that I am going to remember it and compare it to what I learn about Stalin in the future.
The best source for the terror during the early is Solzhenitzyn. Its very hard to find the two books he wrote about that period. The passages I remember talked about how the communists would put villagers - mostly Russian white christian peasants, in a barrel and drive sharp nails all around it, and then roll it down the hill. Honestly, I really hope that was not true.
I can't be sure that this did not continue for a period under Stalin. I am not really clear whether Stalin came in and purged, or he spent a few years as Cabal puppet before turning against them.
The most common official story is - he was consolidating power, but he became crazy and paranoid. The second part makes me think that they are lying. Whenever they claim a leader is crazy or paranoid (including Trump, Gaddafi, Saddam - pretty much all leaders who went against Cabal) I dont believe.
As you know, this particular theory is just that, purely based on looking at the history with new intuition based on what I have learnt past 2 years. It might very well be completely off the mark.
If you do find anything else that throws more light on this, do share it with me.
