My new method- look it up on Amazon, then search the seller outside of Amazon and purchase directly from said seller- Amazon becomes my research tool and NOT my shopping tool.
I've done that too, many times. I don't make too big a deal of it, because I am afraid Amazon will catch on and change this.
Next month: Consumer prices at Amazon raise by $3.8 billion total over the past 30 days.
...that's O.K. as long as I get free shipping...
...doggy winks....
Here's to hoping Amazon would pop before small businesses do.
Can you report a loss if you were never profitable in the first place?
Hope Amazon collapses period
Amazon is in more trouble than this. They are fraudulently charging for Amazon Prime when people didn't sign up for it. Even the fake news is reporting this: https://www.nbc12.com/story/38464738/wells-fargo-debit-card-customers-frustrated-over-fraudulent-amazon-charges/.

And that's not all! If you order by midnight tonight you get: Amazon in legal trouble for price fixing and screwing over third party vendors: https://www.businessinsider.com/amazon-end-third-party-sellers-program-pay-price-fixing-allegations-2022-1, https://www.atg.wa.gov/news/news-releases/ag-ferguson-investigation-shuts-down-amazon-price-fixing-program-nationwide
