I'm that way about the Smart Home/Alexa things. I grew up with Star Trek and other sci fi and thought how cool it would be to have things computerized, to have an "assistant" in the house that could do things (control lights or music etc) with voice commands. Or to have all the online knowledge of the World there to give you answers if you had a question.

But of course jerkfaces had to wreck that future for everyone else.
