Nina Jankowicz describes herself as a reader of democracy and technology, based in Central and Eastern Europe. She is an author, a researcher, a speaker, and a writer too. She has written the most prominent and highly praised book called How To Lose the Information War: Russia, Fake News, and the Future of Conflict. Nina frequently gives her advice to the Ukrainian government on strategic communications, after receiving her Fulbright-Clinton Public Policy Fellowship.

She has written many pieces of writing published by the news and media outlets including The Washington Post, The Atlantic, The New York Times, and others. Despite this, she is a television personality and often appears on the radio giving her commentary on the disinformation and affairs of Eastern Europe and Russia. Nina has received a Fulbright grant in Ukraine and after the same, she managed to work for democracy assistance programs in Russia and Belarus at the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs.
