Latest Update: All the Data gateway milestone issues have been completed and closed.

Revpop-core: Count the votes of committee members on a worker’s proposal and save it in the >native blockchain database. Committee members are elected accounts that can >make proposals such as changing the fee structure of the blockchain. Several >tests were added to ensure the correctness of the implementation.

Code refactoring under the branch of counting normal blockchain accounts votes >towards workers’ proposals.

Three new repositories have been added to Revolution Populi’s Github: revpop-web3portal: The web interface (UI) for testnet.revolutionpopuli.com and >all the corresponding functionality that connects to the core blockchain. The >recent updates include text modifications over bitshares original text. The >modifications include the text of a dex, but I won’t speculate on what it means. revpopjs-ws: The main library used by revpop-js to interact with the blockchain (a >JavaScript wrapper for the blockchain API). It has all the configurations, links, >and parameters that can be altered to choose what chain to connect to. Currently >set to connect to the testnet. revpop-report: As written in the repo, this can be used to download an account’s >transaction history.

We can see that there was ongoing development in these repositories before >becoming public. This includes interfaces for the storage adapters that hasn’t been >added to the testnet UI yet.

Progress Update: Data Gateway Milestone progress: about 100%. System Governance Milestone progress: 20-30%

The project has made immense progress from where they were last year. There is no marketing for this project yet, as the project founders have opted for a work ethic model of business. They keep quite, and get work done behind the scenes rather than try to shill the project to the masses. Most crypto scams do the opposite of this. They market to the moon, and deliver nothing on the core principles of the project.

Read through my original post on this matter for an in depth analysis of why I believe Revolution Populi to be a huge deal in both the crypto and social media spaces. I believe it will be at the center of finance, communication, and data in the next iteration of the internet.

As always, do your own research and due diligence. Never trust the research of another anon when it comes to financial decisions. If you feel that RevPop is a scam, by all means avoid the project. Gold and Silver are far safer investments for the faint of heart.
