Can someone TLDR what exactly this is about? I know there is no active case, and this is a fishing expedition. What is even the basis for this subpoena?

TLDR: NY AG Leticia James, who ran for office on a platform of legally pursuing Trump by any means necessary, has filed charges that Trump overinflated the value of his commercial properties for loan purposes, and then undervalued his properties for tax purposes.
