He seemed to know a lot about McRaven but looked a lot older than his 2014 speech UOT @ Austin, and a bit shaggier. Oddly, in hindsight, he looked and sounded similar and was quite intelligent. He told me he was in the Obama's Situation Room when Bin Laden was taken out and a lot of other things. In a bragging kind of way, he said he was receiving 16K retirement, 4K SS, and was currently pursuing a Doctorate. in Business.
I didn't believe him, but he seemed to be acting quite well (Other than looking shaggy and a bit too old)
People who weren't there, talk about it. People who were there, don't.
I was fascinated, this guy knew so much, that I later confirmed, about McRaven's career and etc... Riding the bus can be quite an opportunity for adventure.
Wasn’t Mcraven an actual seal? They aren’t the type to randomly approach strangers and brag about their service. In fact, usually they won’t even initially tell you they are a seal, but will just say they were with the teams, or in special operations. Sounds like you met one of the fifty million mentally ill seal impersonators.
Yup, other than having the unkept appearance, he knew all about McRaven...
Trust your first instinct. You're usually right.
