People won't realize wtf is going on until it really starts effecting their $$$$$$$$$$ and they wake up one day and realize they lost everything.

I think people have realized for a long time. They are just battling back and forth with the decision to be responisble and help fix the problem or sit back and accept what ever happens so they dont get caught with their neck out.
