Hopefully that will be what happens. This is why election officials also need to be recalled.
Those positions can't generally be recalled. In Wisconsin they're appointed by politicians. So, I don't think they're worried about being recalled. Perhaps if armed protesters started showing up at their homes and places of employment to peacefully make their voices heard in the most disruptive and scary legal way possible that might encourage them to act on their responsibilities. At least we know from the school board thing that they're afraid of us.
