I believe DZP1 has it partly right. Enoch talks of the fallen angels, but the Sumerians call them the Annunaki. Which I guess could be called aliens, they are from another planet. The Sumerian accounts are older than Jewish/Christian accounts.
The Sumerians told us we are made to be a slave species, which looks like we still are. They said we were made to mine gold. We have had a connection to gold since the beginning of time, why gold, plenty of other precious materials to adore, but gold always #1.
I have always told my friends and family that I believe fallen angels or aliens are here and are at the top. Why else would evil, pain, destruction rule our everyday life. We could fix any of the problems easily like world hunger, disease, wars, pollution. Whoever is at the top has scary powers and obviously hates us, and most likely has a longer lifespan than ours.
The Anunnaki needed the gold to help save their planet's atmosphere. Perhaps when we take the gold for our own use, it's making them mad and they have to eliminate those attempting it.
