I mean, are we really surprised that a high ranking US official made a secret visit into a war zone for a photo op? Obviously they need this PR for the midterms. I’m not sure what’s worse, the need for democrats to be liked, or the need of this forum to throw away occams razor in favor of creating their own narrative to make us feel better about 2020.
