Sammy was a good boy at heart...we had to put him down due to a lot of sudden medical complications. It started with cushions disease, then back problems, and then his front legs sustained injury which caused them to be hollowed out .
I write this asking for prayers, and to shed light on tyranny of the animal care system. It really is no better than how horrible our human health care system is. All these drugs and treatment to help our precious pets are insanely expensive. Only those with wealth are able to allow their pets a second chance at life. I know Sammy would've recovered and had at least 2 more years if we were able to afford the treatment. He had the spirit and energy to move around, just didn't have the body... I also noticed some suspicious behavior from the staff. I don't believe they're nefarious by any intent, but I could sense a level of incompetence, or neglect from them. I don't know how to explain, but it didn't feel right. I don't think I'll go back to them...but despite that we did what we had to do, and we did everything we possibly could to help our dog.
I pray too, that the collapse of this wicked evil in our world will help not just us humans, but as well our furry families.
And thank you all for fighting the good fight in this information war.
We had a dog that had Cushings disease. She passed in 2005, and I never added up the bills because it was depressing; however, if I had to estimate, it was probably$15K over her lifetime that we had her which was about 5 years (she was a senior adoption). The lysodren costs were insane and sometimes it was a real struggle. But man, we loved that dog. One of the best friends I ever had.
We had to put our cat down last year. I still miss my little man. 🙏 for you and yours.
