and 99.9% of people still had their masks on today. On the news they were saying "It's too uncomfortable to take off the mask now after two years"
Walking around my neighborhood, I saw nobody with out a mask on except me, I took my son to the park (he's never worn a mask once) and all the kids had masks on :(
Maybe it will change when it gets hot as shit here in the next month or so, but I doubt it.
Flea training.
Take a bunch of fleas and put them in a container that's shorter than their natural jumping height. Put a lid on the container so they bounce off the lid rather than jumping out to freedom. Wait for a period of time. Fleas learn never to jump high enough to bounce off the lid. Remove the lid. Fleas still never jump higher than the lid's former position. They've now been trained never to jump high enough to gain freedom, even though they easily could.
Sadly, people are just as trainable as fleas. The challenge will be to retrain them. To restore their autonomy. To re-ignite their desire for freedom.
It will be difficult but it can be done. It will take patience and compassion. Be ready for the challenge.
