and 99.9% of people still had their masks on today. On the news they were saying "It's too uncomfortable to take off the mask now after two years"
Walking around my neighborhood, I saw nobody with out a mask on except me, I took my son to the park (he's never worn a mask once) and all the kids had masks on :(
Maybe it will change when it gets hot as shit here in the next month or so, but I doubt it.
Flee that shithole before the new iron curtain comes down. South Korea will be in the Chinese sphere. You won’t be able to come back.
I mean you are right, but then having to go back to shitty Charlotte, NC and live in that multicultural hellhole doesn't' sound great also.
My plan moving here was to bank up some money over the last 3 years with my online business and buy a house... but with covid it basically cut it by almost half.... and with inflation and the housing market now... I'm really not sure what to do.
I've sorta just resigned myself to living with out worrying about stuff like that, otherwise you will never be happy. If China somehow took over S. Korea, then it is what it is I guess, the whole world would be in dire straights at that point.
I did the same in a different asian country back when it made financial sense to do so. Nice place to visit, learned a lot, sowed those wild oats, but ultimately I’m not an oriental bug person and I value the individual. I suspect you’re the same.
China won’t invade, blocs are forming. China gets SK, Taiwan, the belt & road. America will get Japan, Philippines, Australia. There will be little travel or trade between blocs, like the cold war times, because there will be no agreed-upon basis for exchanging value.
You should get back to our bloc and buy silver, that’s how you can buy your house. Whatever you choose, God bless and good luck!
Ugh, no I know your right. It's crazy where we are now and right before I moved to South Korea, Trump was over here and the two Korea's were meeting and talking, I felt like there was a real chance in my life time I could just visit N. Korea without it being a big ordeal, or even a united Korea.... but that seems like a million years ago.
Yeah me and my wife are going to decide what to do in December, I'd love to get to Montana, but having no family or friends there would be hard.... hopefully it all works out.
And God bless you too :)
