I saw a premier of "2000 Mules" on 5/2 with a dozen people in my local patriot posse. Despite D'Souza having great intentions, the man is simply a lousy film-maker. I've seen all his movies and none of them have impressed me. "2000 Mules" is no different, despite hoping for a better movie this time around since it was such compelling subject matter.
Sadly, I give this film an "EPIC fail" rating. And at $20 per ticket, nobody on earth is going to see it besides die-hard Trump supporters who already know that the 2020 election was stolen. The vast majority of this film is people sitting around talking to one another - not showing the DATA and EVIDENCE (which was SUPPOSED to be the entire point of the movie).
There's precious little evidence shown in the whole movie beyond what's already revealed in the teaser trailers. Some of the ballot-stuffer mule video footage even looked like 're-enactments' because of the numerous camera angles and edits - instead of legit footage (and it's not even spelled out that it's a re-enactment - which hurts the credibility of the real footage shown). Very, very disappointed - although not at all surprised.
After the movie, our dozen patriots hung out in the lobby and discussed the movie. All of us were in complete agreement that this movie is a colossal missed opportunity. And even worse, with so much hype about it, expectations are likely even higher - and it doesn't deliver. At all. IMO, save your money.
Good to know. Thank you for your analysis. We will skip. Actually that seems to be his MO across all his films. He never fully delivers and he never hits home. Controlled opposition would be an understatement. Thank you.
I'm starting to wonder the very same thing ("controlled opposition"). Either that or there's a Black Hat who's infiltrated his movie-making team. Big hype followed by poorly executed movies. Every single time. :-(
Steve Bannon, on the other hand - he knows how to deliver the goods! "Trump @ War" was spectacular!
I've met him. Nice guy, but like most on our side they are timid in conversation that goes "beyond" the mainstream, aka controlled talking points. I dont give AF about down votes on this subject. Our side needs to fully wake the fk up.
His movies have been outstanding.
I hear you, but I'm tired of the goods never being delivered from our end. Im tried of being beaten over the head from our own side cause they watch "Tucker". I haven't had cable in 7 years because I'm tired of the bs. So no. Im not going to watch what I assume will be a wishy washy documentary cause "they" would never allow it to be shown if it actually delivered the goods. If it blows through the deep state bs and instantly becomes a cult classic I will change my mind. Something that can actually happen on our side.
Being honest with myself I will probably end up watching within a month or so because there is nothing... nothing else to watch. And I will check out Reefer Madness too...1936? Thanks for the suggestion.
