Two things make demons uncloak and become very overt.

  • Either so much confidence that their infernal agenda will succeed, and hence there is no longer a need for stealth, dissembling, or behind the scenes subversion.

OR

  • Panic, fear, terror at the thought that the righteous are coming for them, lead by Jesus who is in the vanguard.
