What do I get in response? "We wouldn't be in this mess if we stopped using oil Ages ago."

Response: We also wouldn't be living the lives we are as all but a handful of products require oil to make. Yes even the electricity for your EV.

Even if I humored his statement as a fact, it wouldn't change the fact I was stating. It has no bearing on the fact he needs his dumbass prepped.

But, I suppose a few more lives to mourne is just what I need.
