The only way I can rationalize all these abortions is that the unborn don't have a spirit until they take their first breath, just like Adam in the garden of Eden. Just my opinion and I sure wouldn't argue that point with Heavenly Father!! But I cannot understand why HF would let this happen. It's so very sick! He knew this was going to be happening. He must have a plan for all these babies. Millions! The spirits in heaven waiting for a body to come to earth......HF would have had to make some plan otherwise who would want to come to earth! And they can chose as well. Don't get me wrong, I believe it is a mortal sin. So if someone has an explanation, I'd like to hear it.

have had similar questions, and wonder if there's a finite number of souls. or the soul enters at birth/first breath.
the parable of the wheat and the tares makes it sound like a certain percentage of 'people' are empty, and some are the children of God. doesn't sound like more are 'made' from the first planting until the 'harvest'.
I don't believe people are "empty". We are all children of God and we ALL have the opportunity to repent and accept the atonement. One man's sin is no worse than another's. But many people WILL NOT repent. EVER
used to think that too; that everyone has a connection to God. but have studied these parables, can't see it that way anymore. this is one of the 'secrets' that's been hidden and right now we're seeing the separation of the wheat and the tares. Interesting that Fauci literally means 'sickle'...
