That’s an excellent point! Level of harm is completely subjective. It can be argued that while an abortion is certainly a difficult situation, when you gather the full scope of the situation the morality and ethics of it can be quite murky. That’s exactly the point of the trolley problem
Except the is no murk. Killing a baby because you dont want it is always wrong.
So in the case just a couple years ago where a 10 year old was raped and impregnated by her uncle…it would be wrong to terminate that pregnancy just because she “didn’t want it”?
Yes.
It’s egregious in cases of rape regardless. It’s downright inhumane when the girl is 10, so I’m astonished that you would force her to carry an incest baby. Incredibly fucked up.
Then it wouldn’t be forcing her to carry out a pregnancy, although medically I’m pretty certain that it’s Ill-advised for a 10 year old to carry out a pregnancy.
Your question is moot though, since she wanted to end the pregnancy. This whole conversation is about allowing women the choice to end a pregnancy that they don’t want. And still, this bears repeating, it’s incredibly fucked up that you think that she should have been forced to carry it out
Are you familiar with the story?
You say "of course they agree" but you seemingly refuse to ask to confirm as much. It kinds of paints a picture that you draw conclusions first before looking at additional data or asking other people. If you're so sure they agree with you, what's stopping you from asking?
I'm pretty damn certain I'm not wrong for not wanting to force a 10 year old girl to carry a rape incest pregnancy to term, considering how likely it is that she suffers even more as a result. Pretty fucked up that you think it's the correct move to make her undergo that.
Here's the story if you want to learn more about it btw. Maybe you just haven't read up on it.

I’m sure there are others who disagree with me! But you still haven’t shared this with the women in your life. I think it’s foolish to just assume they’d agree with you automatically.
Maybe they will! But your hesitation in asking them makes me think that you’re worried they won’t
