I think everyone knows election fraud exists. I even mentioned an easy way for every citizen to easily get more than 1 vote. Let me lay this out, because I asked about this when I was an observer last election.
A voter can vote without proof of ID, so no name is required to vote but they have you sign an affidavit, they ask you to bring in a piece of mail with your name and address so that you can register to vote just prior to vote. If you don't have mail, you can just sign another affidavit.
Thereby, if you just moved to a new town the day before the election, you can still vote. It's very easy to see how this could be abused. This is the "most legal" way to cheat in an election. It's still illegal, but far less f-ed up than other methods (ballot dumps, voting machines giving candidates free starting votes, voting machines swapping votes, ballots that were "mailed in" with no creases, I could go on, but I digress).
So with such an easy way to cheat, with celebrities bragging on twitter how they bussed people across state lines to do exactly what I described above, everyone knows a certain amount of cheating exists. Exactly how much cheating is it? That is what the population needs to know. If someone doesn't tell you, but shows you, then you can build momentum. Especially if that is a free movie (I forget when, but they said $20 for a while, then free after a while).
