Best course available please. He and his wife are doctors (i know....). Regardless, his kids need a dad, and his wife needs a husband. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Why does it matter if they are doctors if it was mandatory? You make it sound like they had a choice. Or were they not actually forced and just gobbled up all the propaganda?
