As i left work one day i said to my boss, ”i wonder if antivenin for general crotalus species could protect blood cells and prevent related clotting. If I'm wrong, it wont matter. The hospital gives antivenom without knowing if a bite is wet or dry. Doesnt kill either way. Why not try it? And if it works, does that mean things that treat covid can also aid in snakebite treatment, like ivermectin maybe?"
