Nah, Indiana should be the heart of it, the "crossroads of America" where the [older now] largest east/west and north/south roads intersect. Rt. 30 and Rt. 41, where Chicago (just to it's west) can travel directly to FL or east to NY. Where many trucks pass through to go west as well. It is one of the busiest hubs I've seen, after having lived in a few different states. The worst traffic I think I've seen yet. You'll see cars driving 90 with cars and trucks going from lane to lane down a 5 lane highway, 5 miles later (usually the fault of construction, unless it's winter, the other season), all stop for about 15 minutes. In Indiana, the laws are like that of the south, yet next to the large communist regime of Chicago, IL, so people travel across the border for gas, cigarettes, ammo, fireworks, less taxation. Other than being one of the most boring states (outside of Lake Michigan beaches, which are small), it is a fantastic state. Truckers love Indiana, but hate Ohio. Indiana, short of Lake County and Indianapolis, is deep red. "IN voted for Obama" was a lie. They stole that election. The biggest fight IN needs to win is that of stopping election fraud, like every other state.
Lived in that area for 30 years .You are so correct about chicago traffic, worst in the country. I will not use O'hare again to fly, maybe midway. And the schools in the small communities of Indiana are some of the best!! People also travel to Indiana to buy weapons. Indiana is a pro 2nd amendment state!!
Maine is the brain and Texas is the giant brown state hanging down behind Florida.
And Ohio is "The heart of it all."
