Russia is playing chess while Ukraine is playing tug of war.

I've been following it for a while now and the Russian strategies are clearly brilliant. In contrast the Ukrainians/US et al go for things that look good on social media but have no strategic sense at all.

It reminds me of the Biden White House where everything is for show and nothing makes sense from a practical point of view.
