Yeah if the ultimate penalty is death, 10 years is a tremendous deal. Loss of citizenship is fitting but I don't think that's something that's ever been done, not sure if that has precedent and how it can be legally argued, though to betray your nation SHOULD revoke citizenship.

Treason is the one reason in which a natural citizen can have their citizenship revoked.
