During the Great Depression the unemployment rate was at 25-30%. During a recession there is an uptick in unemployment that reaches as high as 10%. During a depression prices are driven down due to a lack of demand caused by a lack of money.
As the saying goes, it's a recession when my neighbor loses his job, and it's a depression when I lose my job.
Bank failures caused many people to lose their savings. There were no credit cards or ATMs back then so people didn't have money. Lots of businesses closed due to lack of customers and lack of cash. The money was backed by gold and was fixed at something like $32 to the oz. The Government did not create fiat money. The Governments response was to create the WPA and create jobs so people could EARN money.
Today It seems more likely that the Government would create money and give it away in order to stimulate the economy. That would and has always resulted in inflation.
In the late 70s under Jimmy Carter there was a recession coupled with inflation. The government printed money but the economy was slow to respond, so they coined the term 'Stagflation'. The government was the cause of the problem.
Inflation was rampant due to the cost of the Vietnam War. I remember Gerald Ford, (who served out Nixon's term after he resigned) came out with his corny button 'WIN' for everyone to wear. WIN stood for 'Whip Inflation Now'. This was after Nixon had tried to impose price and wage controls on the country. The government was the cause of it all. The bills from the Viet Nam war were due, and Nixon made the decision to send green backs instead of gold to the foreign countries the US has borrowed from. The countries objected, but they took them.
Then Nixon went to the Saudis and made a deal to defend their country against any attack as long as they traded oil in US Dollars. That was the birth of the petro dollar. Now the dollar is pegged to the price of oil.
Once the world stops trading in petro dollars, then there will be hyper-inflation. For now there will be inflation because the DODO bird in the white house has caused fuel prices to triple. Everything is shipped by trucks that burn diesel, so the prices of everything will go up. Keep your pantry stocked and you will do fine. Be ready to cut back on luxuries in a moments notice.
A recession is 2 quarters back to back with negative GDP growth. We are 1 3/4 of the way there right now sadly. The MSM is predicting a recession in 24 months from now, as of today on ABC syndicated local radio station. But by definition we are living it now.
If 90% of our food was laced with chemical poisons, designed to castrate and mind control us, then how might you get rid of such items without causing a panic in the global population?
People finding out that things like fluoride turning off your higher conscience or high fructose corn syrup is genetically augmented using an aborted fetal stem cell line to activate addiction-prone neurons in the brain would collapse the economy, should enough grocers and consumers toss them out all at once and demand actually healthy alternatives.
What's gonna be even worse is finding out certain products are good-old soylent green.
Seriously, consider what an impact it would have on the economy if we collectively find out all this was true, for certain.
There's no other way to get rid of it than to slow-roll "shortages" as an excuse for why we can't get you that gatorade with 20 dyes in it that are hormonally equivalent to estrogen and are turning the frogs gay.
People will want the gatorade, like addicts needing a hit of their go-to drug.
You gotta ween people off their addictions. Cutting them off all cold-turkey, on top of the economic fallout, would spell absolute disaster.
Bare Shelves Biden might just be the White Hats getting rid of the potential nano-tech they've been putting in processed foods. Same goes for the food processing plants shutting down.
The cells, called HEK 293 cells (that stands for human embryonic kidney) were taken from an aborted fetus in the 1970s in the Netherlands. Bits of chopped up DNA from the adenovirus, a virus that causes a pretty severe cold. The kidney cells were forced to take up bits of DNA using a technique invented in 1973 that used a calcium solution. The resulting cells don't act much like human cells at all, but they are very easy to work with and have become workhorses of cellular biology. That's why they're used in the development of drugs and vaccines. (Here's the original paper on the creation of the HEK cells. ) No new fetal tissue has been used to keep the cell culture going; the use of this cell line isn't leading to new abortions.
They call it the immortal child. A baby that was aborted and is never allowed to die.
Senomyx are the only ones who got "caught". A Strawman crafted to dispel any opposition and reassure the masses. It was all calculated.
It's impossible to get away from the reality of filth that plagues our dinner table, without abandoning society in general. Doing so would only move us closer to the Devil winning. He wants us divided, sickened by our own kind.
Rewatch Soylent Green's ending. Look at the crowd of people.
They aren't in disbelief of Heston's claims about Soylent Green.
They simply aren't surprised.
If they could do something about it, they would have already.
That apathy must be avoided, but reality does leave a bitter taste in one's mouth.
The only option is to keep fighting, keep living, and stay upbeat.
They wouldn't poison the food if it didn't make those with enough gumption to seek the truth too sick to go on living. It's a means to an end, which ultimately is the destruction of Humanity.
a recession is when your neighbor looses his job, a depression is when you loose your job. we weren't as poor as your grandma, we had mustard sandwiches.

An excellent tutorial

I wouldn't worry about the difference. we are going into a full on collapse!
Look at the potential upside.

Cat food is suspicious as well. They say it's an aluminum shortage.
I always wondered why my cats obsessively lick my fingers. Some will wake me up to do it.
If you have doubts about what you're eating, say grace -- a prayer to bless the food and undo any evil machinations therein.
Sometimes it is better to not know until something can be done about it...
