I thought I had a lefty when he said there was no order to the National Guard for reinforcements before January 6. The order came from Trump to Pelosi and she declined, I wrote.
Long story short, appearantly there’s no evidence that Trump gave that order to Pelosi according to Washington Post https://t.co/fsdGJhQ62S
I realised I am just taking Trumps word for it as I trust Trump more than probably any source of information in the world. It doesn’t help me in a debate though.
So is there any evidence for this?
This article explains it better
TL;DR - Trump definitely told pentagon that they might need 10,000 national guard. According to Miller and former CIA lawyer Adam Ciralsky, this is true. However, Trump assumed that this info was passed on to Pelosi and nothing was done. This is what he thought not claimed as first ahnd info. It seems Miller dismissed that estimate on his own, so it was not sent to Pelosi, at least not by him.
Thank you, this was what I was looking for.
BTW, you cant argue with people on an uneven playing field. They throw around MSM fake news articles and it supposed to be accepted as actual evidence, but the real truth can only be found in fringle and alt sites and they dont even accept it.
I find this kind of debates quite pointless really. Its best to drop crumbs and move on. If they get curious, drop more crumbs, and when they are ready you can drop the whole bread.
