Good post titles make things more easily searchable too. I get so irritated when I see someone say, "this has been posted before" or "use the search feature". While both those may be true, if an OP uses a vague post title, the search feature becomes useless. Nothing but emoji eyes as a post title is the worst!
Exactly.
And, just a FYI to everyone -
A lot of icons, special fonts or whatever that are used in post titles/headlines appear as rectangles with Xs in them for those users who have Comunity Styles turned off.
It's possible that post titles composed entirely of these "things" don't get views and updoots because they don't get clicked.
@p
-and for folks that don't know, if we're talking a youtube video you can click the share button and below all the media buttons and the link to copy is a check box " Start at " and the place the video is currently at in your window, if you check that box it changes the link above it to include the time. Try to link like this when it's appropriate, i imagine other video hosts have similar things. It's just part of creating a good presentation. Sometimes seeking through a video on a small touchscreen is frustrating, especially if it is a long one.
